The Different Types of Paternalism

Paid surrogacy may call into question a hard and degrading forms of wage labour. There have been strong objections, moral arguments made against it in the 19th century. But how is that different from selling your labour? somebody might go and work in a coal mine, destroy their body, not coerced, but there's a lot of economic pressure for them to do that horrible job. Why is it any different from doing that? Well, it may be similar. It may be similar from certain forms of dangerous and degrading wage labour of other kinds.
