The Importance of Singing in a Church
Maurice White was born on a dating street in Memphis, Tennessee. The motivation to want to have the passion for music were these stem out of that experience. We came together eight, nine years old singing in Rose Hill Baptist Church. And we were four or nine, we were going to church. That was a real experience of learning how to feel good about doing that in front of people.
