The Difference Between Pain and Suffering

Many mindfulness teachers would distinguish between pain and suffering. I think the easiest way to approach this is for your listeners to think back on their own lives. When you bring concentration, clarity, and equanimity to an uncomfortable experience, it doesn't stop hurting, but it does stop bothering. We're going to head into more of how we do some of that in a minute.
