Is WT Social a Good Idea?

i've become convinced that there's something deeply wrong with the advertising only business model for social medium. i'm deftly not a neuro scientist, but i don't think this is completely absurd to say they're sort of like the the monkey brain of the reptilian brain. And my aristotelian brain says, oh, great. I've got an hour. I'm going to sit down in the incinet and i'm going to do something,. And then there's the monkey brain that goes, what's that?
