The Importance of Having a Full Set
The loft divisions on a junior set are the same as an adult set. Kids at a younger age, especially, don't have the speed to generate distance differences that an adult would with the same four degree difference. In terms of what kind of clubs to get, I know a lot of parents who'll cut down sets and I tell them, please don't do that because when you're cutting down the shafts, you're in a sense making them up. So it's better that the clubs are actually, believe it or not, too small than too big.
