Control Is the Name of the Game When Someone Is Abusing You
When someone is truly abusive and they use gaslighting as a manipulative tactic in the relationship, their intent is to manipulate you. The essence of what this person is trying to do is to gain control. Abuse is all about control. And immature and selfish is a horrible combination. It's like stay away from that. Why do we get into these types of relationships to begin with? Whether they're super unhealthy and incredibly tumultuous by some of the messages that I read in the beginning or whether they're just straight up abusive.
