The Cynical View of Truth
Foucault says that anyone who claims to be truthful is actually just making a claim for power. And in fact, you know, the most cynical as you say is the postmoderns and Foucault is an example of this where he says that we all invent our own truth. But Jesus self-evently not resisting himself about to be put to death. It completely undermines the idea that truth claims to all about power plays because Jesus is empty himself of power.
