The January 6th Prosecution Is Garbage

John Avlon: The January 6th prosecution is garbage. They are trying to charge the president of the United States with something that no other person has ever been charged for in a law that it was designed and intended to be used in a different kind of problem altogether, which is voter suppression. If this is where they're going, this is bad. This is yet another case in which in the eagerness to charge having brought a strong case, he is now going to bring a weak case just to bring a case. That's what it looks like to me. I think we have to wait and see what the indictment looks like. We put that every day. How can we wait?
