The Pierce Family and the Pierce Family

This season without, you know, we won't spoil anything beyond this first episode that we're discussing here. But it should be said that this season, they're introducing a number of more female characters. Holly Hunter and Cherry Jones are both coming in as part of the storyline that looks to examine. The Pierce family is the fictional name, but they're sort of poking at the solesburgers who control the New York Times since 1896.
