What Happened to Fritz Phillips?

In 1939, Anton Phillips resigned as president of the company. His son in law Franz Aten became president and his actual son Fritz Phillips became a director for the company. The Netherlands didn't have the luxury of remaining neutral in World War II. And so they began to relocate operations to America in order to avoid the conflict.
