Data Warehouse vs Data Lake
The data and the compute are more loosely coupled in a data lake, and they're much, much more strongly coupled on a warehouse. So that's why you see a lot of people talking about, okay, you don't need data lakes You just need like cloud warehouses. And obviously marketing doesn't share with that stuff,. especially now that we have all these like the lake house and we're trying to take the data lake and make it a little bit more comfortable into data warehouse and vice versa. That's my next question. What's the difference between a data warehouse and data lake in terms of like as architectural patterns right?
