The company was partly killed by state actors too, because they had proper encrypted backends. The big value prop to Blackberry for Blackberry for the telcos was that we were going to reduce our users bandwidth as much as possible. And then basically Steve Jobs went to them and was like, we're going to make consumers use as much bandwidth as possible. So you make more money on bandwidth. You know, they do have a fantastic OS that came when they were already dying called QNX. It's one of the best fucking Unix ever made for, uh, small devices and sort of like industrial applications.
