China's Realistic Approach to Peace Negotiations

Jared: It's hard to get people to talk about peace settlement if they just refuse to stop shooting at each other. Jared: Wang Wenbin on Friday, upon announcing Li Hwa's mission, really showed how China's putting a lot in this to demonstrate that it's the leader in international diplomacy here. Jared: We have to wait and see whether China will present something further beyond its 12-point peace plan. But the Chinese analysts said it's unlikely because that's already the 12- point peace plan.
