i don't know if you all remember this, but, like, maybe ten years ago in continental philosophy, there was like a real thire. Was like a spate of papers being presentd and lots of sort of like, talk about, like, things could be otherwise. And i always just thought, like, the event, the event,. The event could happen at any time, everything different. And our house was just, like, i guess, i guess things could be Otherwise. But they're not. They have to be this way for a reason. Cin we get to grips with that. Like just asserting abstract possibilitys like always trivially true and not very interesting.
