Late Wednesday, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission rejected Grayscale’s proposal to convert the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust to a spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). Within minutes, Grayscale, a CoinDesk sister company, had filed suit against the SEC about that decision.
