Andres remembers his mother telling him about the risks the night witches took to achieve their goals. After just 15 sorties of her own, Andres Mumm was quickly promoted into leadership. But being an officer didn't stop her from keeping friends. One of the ghosts was Yevgenia Rudnewa. She was studying astronomy and she was writing poems and writing diary all the time. That was one of the parts of the war because these airplanes sometimes they do not even go far away.
