Did People Recognize You From Hairspray?

I was quite a bit older than the youth explosion that happened during that year. There were times where, even walking down the street in new york city, people would run up to me. I can't imagine what people go through now, with the scrutiny and the availability of like, images to fly so quickly. So it's never what you think it is. i'm very fortunate that i had an amazing experience, and i loved the act of performing and the art of creating.
