Herman Brew's Life in Burlington
Herman was always flirting with a number of young girls in Burlington. He paid particular attention to Mrs. Brew's daughter, which she did not like. Herman would wake up early every morning and leave the house for what he said were long walks for his health. On one occasion, apparently, Fred Ingalls borrowed Herman's mustache wax without asking for it Without asking for it,. And this led Herman to literally beat the shit out of him. It's ridiculous. But the fact that it was so bad is so Victorian, I can't.
