I Was Sexually Abused When I Was Five

For twenty five years, no one knew about this. And it deeply shaped my life. I can't even imagine something happening over and over again and not feeling comfortable or safe. There's about eighteen thousand women and children a year who are smuggled in to theunited states for the purposes of being exploited as as slaves. The more i talked about it with family and friends, then i finally opened out publicly about it my show. It was an amazing six and a half year journey of healing the past, letting go, forgiving. Was not forgetting, it always got to be with me in the memory, but the ability to have peace in my heart and move on....
