The first half of the series is both just kind of us gawking at the world building of this environment. But I think the meditations that are going on there are as you bring up the swap of labor for life. Some of the other things that occur to me are just almost satirizing the all-consuming nature of work. America is flattering itself when we say we're a family values culture. We're not. That's what we prioritize. As a nation, we prioritize work. And also, if I'm going to steelman this, work being more important doesn't mean that you love your work more than you love your family.
