"I don't claim any kind of expertise, and I don't write it. I just think about it a lot," says writer John Sutter. "Solar punk is to look on the future with fresh eyes." The term Afro-Futurism gets used more by people who write in black science fiction arts. It's not always the most useful tool in trying to think about black arts.
