Is the War on Merit Really a Bad Idea?
There is nothing inherent to the party of f d r and l b j that says, you have to be soft on crime, right? There's nothing in a. progressivism, liberalism, democratic orthodoxy, a properly understood, there's nothing it this way. The smart people in the democratic party are saying, d to fund the police was a really, really bad idea. And again, i would kind of say, go ahead and do that, because that will be great for republicans. But any way, so these ideas that i kind of drive me crazy are just, you know, you see bubbling up all over the place, i've started noticing.
