The Problem With Amateur Golf
The best 10 ball strikers in the world are 13th in the world ranking. Best putters are 65th. So a four foot putt is something that my mom who's 80 can do almost as well as everyone on for the difference between the greatest players of all time and their ability to hit it high. That's when you're starting to get into, you know, athletic stuff to be able to generate speed and then be able to hit that ball straight up in the sky.
