The First Jewish Roman War
In 66 AD, about 33 years or so after Jesus is crucified, Menahim led a group of zealots in a rebellion against Rome and the authorities in Jerusalem. This event has marked what historians have called the first Jewish Roman war. The Jews were able to throw out Rome, but it didn't last.
