The Importance of Training for War
O'Kane's first war patrol began on January 24, 1944. On February 16, Tang cites a convoy of two freighters and five smaller vessels in the Caroline Marshall Islands area. Radar picked up the convoy at a range of over 31,000 yards,. which is pretty, pretty significant.
