King Rehoboam established himself in Jerusalem and reigned for 17 years. His son Abijah, his successor, fought against Jeroboam's army of picked warriors. The men of Israel fled before Judah, and God gave them into their hand. And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the Lord turned from him.
