Orpheus and Eurydice
Orpheus made music about his wife Eurydice so beautiful that it made God's cry. But one day she stepped on a poisonous snake and died. He traveled to Hades, the land of the dead; he convinced its ruler to free her. The point of the story is that the dead are dead. Wishing they are not dead will only hurt you from living your life.
