I was surprised how long it took for the first central bank to blink. It's like in a game of chicken where you're just staring at each other and then one person blinks. The reason Blackrock manages to become so important is that they hold everybody's pensions. And so if they go down, they take you with them. So who you failed, the entire country fails.
