The Advantages of TCP Over UDP
TCP has a lot of overhead to it, which is why UDP is faster. It's easier to prevent abuse on TCP because the abuse control is built into the protocol. You can't put back pressure on a UDP connection with reverse attacks. So you see that's why like TCP was ditched and deep in HTTP free.
