The Greeko Roman Concept of Lagos

Lagos is a Greek word for "reason" or the underlying structural order of all things. Heraclitus and gadawa provide clues to how greco roman pagans defined this lagos. John's gospel gives it a hebrew spin, making it not an abstract force but a rational person. The greek understanding of ultimate reality is shown to be inadequate in light of christianity.
