The Importance of Cash Flow in Real Estate Investment
The stats are that 70% of people in Canada, at least, will end up breaking their fixed rate mortgage. I have broken two and collectively between the two, I've paid $40,000 in fees. It's only going to become clear when you sit down and take time to understand the path ahead. So one thing I've learned over time is that relying too much on price appreciation is probably not a sound enough strategy because when things go down, it's harder to sleep at night.
