The Relationship Between Man and Woman and Biblical Symbolism
There's been this struggle to actually see the biblical teaching about sex within its proper frame. Sex is about procreation. It's not primarily sex leading to orgasm in the single sexual relation. And so for instance, if we're thinking about symbolism of sewing a seed, we're not thinking about orgasm. We're thinking about the importance of the child being conceived.
