Residents of a town called Brodlevo have sought to cleanse the community, small community in Bulgaria, of evil. Tretian translates literally dog spinning. People voluntarily bring their own pet dogs. They erect this apparatus over a body of water, a creek or a river and they tie the rope around the dog's waist.
