The Role of the Three Hundred and Sixty Second on Data
The three hundred and sixty second were part of data. They flew one mission across the channel toward the end of the day escorting gliders, a glider to him T-47s and dropped them off. The role quickly shifted to attacking any means that the Germans had of bringing troops up doing interdiction. In June they lost 26, 27 aircraft and 20 or, 20 or so pilots - definitely the roughest month of the war for them.
