"I remember once I tried to move a box, like we were like setting up some like gadget or whatever. And they're like, you can't touch that," she says. "There's a very blue collar, white collar intercept in there where you've got camera operators and people who are doing set design." The last strike writers went on was 2008; this one has been more successful because of the solidarity shown by Teamsters with writers field so it could be shut down.
