AOL co-founder and former CEO of AOL Steve Case started a venture capital firm called revolution. The company has made 200 investments in 100 different cities over the last five, six years. It's focused on places that don't really get a lot of attention from Silicon Valley or other big tech hubs like New York and San Francisco. In 2012, it launched its first seed fund to invest in companies such as Trussa resort which is now doing quite well.
