The Inequality of Jewish People
jewish people at this moment occupied a kind of special place within society because they didn't exactly fit within the basic class paradime that was emerging. Many of them had wealth, just like other groups, but because of their continued discriminations levelled against them that excluded them from certain circles. And it just so happens that jewish people had certain connections that were not necessarily afforded to everybody else. So you would have jewish people drawing lines of affiliation across nations,. which was actually beneficial to many states who wanted people that could essentially easily move money between a between other states in order to facilitate trade and so on.
