Aristotle talks about trying to be true to the phenomena. He tends to think about sense experience as being somehow in parallel with that kind of information. It kind of all goes into one big batch of phenomena which we can use to generate inquiry. Do you think this is something that he actually does in his treatises? That's a really good question.
