The Effects of Gender Affirming Care
Gender affirming care is the result of, no kidding, a century of research that we have reams and reams of medical journals speaking to the impact of this care for transgenter people. But because there's a lot of misunderstanding about this care, i think whenever somebody hears transtender and health care, they tend to leap right to surgeries. That's simply not the cased. Transenter youth are experiencing nothing less than a health crisis. At least one in three transed under youth, according to the centers for disease control has experienced a suicide attempt.
