The Global Food Crisis - The Short Term Challenge
Many countries will be able to find alternative sources of wheat or boost their own production. Others, however, will need to be helped. The long term challenge is how do we change our global food system in a way that accounts for that creates more flexibility. We are really inflexible with our global er networks here, and we still operate under the assumption that things will be fine. And i think this crisis, which is one of so many that we've had over the last years, a shing to be a reminder we should no longer see the crisis as an exceptional situation where you do crisis management.
