The Guts of Large Language Models
The search engine is going to be the main conceptual idea that they're going to use when analyzing large language models. The more likely it is that a court would conclude that the LLM is just a conduit, even if a very sophisticated one for third party speech and therefore section 230 applies. And so as long as the search engine is not meaningfully altering the sort of semantic content of the underlying page, it's fine. So in stitching things together, I defer to Mihai behind this but my sense from what I've looked at is that chat GPT does actually show the sort of ping pong or echo chamber where it wants to go again.
