Using a Gen Drive to Eliminate Justesmiasis

A jean drive system does exactly the same thing as a yeast jean for what's called a homing ino nucleus. It cuts versions of the chromosome that don't have it and then copies itself over. If you could save half a million children every year, that'd be pretty amazing. And if we could do it for malaria, then why not to eradicate sesta samiasis?
