How to Compress a Drum Bus

Pumping is usually the main giveaway of like bad compression. I'll do the same thing with my all vox. If you hyper compress something with a very fast attack time and it's slow release time, well medium release time kind of like kind of does this weird pumping thing, which is cool. It's not side chain pumping. It's actual like it's like the kick hit and you heard just like a yeah, you can really hear it on a drum bus. Exactly. You can hear it kind of the release kind of suck it back in. And that's where like parallel does good too. Like it's kind of the in between world. Anyway, that was number six
