Heidegger's Ugly Association With the Nazis
Heidegger had inflated expectations of what the Nazis could do to return us to a truer in a way more authentic ground. His understanding is very opposed to liberal democracy, from his point of view, Soviet Union, America, it's all the same. He wouldn't be a Nazi in every circumstance, but it's altogether clear why I think he became one.
