EMDR stands for Eye movement, desensitization and reprocessing. It's not like wiping memories. This is like turning, it's transforming a flashback into a memory. And so it's amazing. It was incredible because she could then think about this thing and not be triggered by it. Yeah. The goal is never avoidance,. the goal is never around getting rid of, pushing away, forgetting. It's about integrating.
