The Importance of Social Capital in the Climbers' Lives
The delta in income is, you know, the thing we follow the most and that we're the most proud of. I just got text messages from two climbers this week who are working at IBM. They started about 18 months ago and they both got raises and are now making $96,000 a piece. So I would say it's about that first job and then it's about what happens in the second and the third year. Oftentimes they stay, but, youknow, sometimes they jump and get more by going to the next company.
