The Islamic State is largely founded by or led and the Musu-Din sure accounts are largely, in 2006, largely led by N.S.R.L. Islam veterans who defected to what would become the Islamic State. They were back on the scene within three years after the US withdrew from Iraq. And then they really didn't succeed until it did not take the US intervention. That reminds me of a document from the bin Laden files from Pakistan where Al-Qaeda's leader was saying, hey, stop poach.
