Cleansed - A Play About Extreme Love

I was having a particular sort of fit about all this naturalistic rubbish which was being produced. I decided i wanted to write a play that could never be turned into a film or shot for television or turned into a novel. And then on the theme of love, if you want to write about extreme love, you can only write about it in an extreme way - otherwise it doesn't mean anything. So i suppose both blasted and cleansed are about distressing things which we'd like to think we would survive. If people can still love after that, then love is the most powerful thing.
