"I looked at my brother. He was much bigger than me. Had been since high school," says author and former journalist, LZ Granderson. "For the first time in my life I was scared of him", he adds. After his release from a hospital, Granderson's brother read to her from pill bottles instead of talking about god. 'He called me on my birthday just three months after he was committed,' she writes.
