The Ending of Slavery - Is That Really the Case?
In his essay, Orlando Patterson argues that we don't focus enough on the arab slave trade. He also says that we don’t focus enough on how slavery actually ended. And what he seems to present is a pretty traditional, as you would say, pro western account of the ending of slavery. Does that seem sort of, even remotely plausible?
